Self Employed People will “Pay Double” for Health Insurance: ObamaCare Lies Exposed

Don't be a Drone

Don’t be a Drone

Insurance will double for southern states so the rates are the same as New York for self employed people.

If you have insurance by an employer it will rise by 25%. If they decide to keep it and not pay the fines and force you to pick up your own insurance. It is estimated 30% of all small business will opt for the fine leaving many people without insurance. Also small business will stop hiring new people to absorb the new regulations and fees associated with the new hidden cost.

If you think Obama care will save you money your right, if you have no job, don’t work or will ever work again, then this program is for you.

If you plan on working then you are screwed and WILL have to pay more to cover this expense so you can pay for people who don’t want to work again.

Obamacare will cost Americans millions in hidden fines and fees and the self employed will have to pay double.

The whole Obama care plan is actually hurting people like me that are self employed. I’m 37 and have a plan with blue shield that is $142 a month, with a $1,250 deducitble. I’ve had this plan now for 3 years. Now with Obama care, my plan is going to be extinct come the end of 2014. The cheapest plan I now can pick from is $161 a month, with a $4,500 deductible! This to me is insane, and I don’t understand who someone young, yes, people that are 21 for ex, how they are going to afford paying this type of deductible when something happens. They won’t be able to pay it.

I’m confused how I’m basically getting screwed by the affordable care act and all this great stuff that’s supposed to help everyone. People like me, that are younger and self employed, the deductibles are crazy.

If I call blue shield, all they do is just read me the plans that are available on heathcare.gov. They don’t have any other plans than what’s offered on .gov. I called multiple insurance companies, and all the plans are 99% the same now.

Do you have any advice for someone like me? This is effecting millions, and I think I read that 42 million are self employed. Another interesting thing is, if someone didn’t have insurance before Obama care, and decided to get it before it took place, they would have been actually paying much less.

You should call me, I am a licensed health insurance agent in Texas. I know all about your plight. I have seen this in full action and it’s not pretty. The fact you are correct about your situation is happening all around the country. If your poor your getting a good deal, even the self employed – unless you make over 36.6K then your screwed. If you make under 11,600.00 for ex. you don’t get any subsidy and roll over to medicade. If your between 11,600- 36.6K and depending on your number of dependents will get a subsidy – with a catch – you give up your tax returns for life, or until you drop off the plan.

Talking about the young of the world they are really screwed. If you figure the course of a life time (20 years) on plans that are annualized even figuring on a basic plan you will pay over 300K during that time frame. That means from this year forward everyone will have to pay 1/3 of their income for health care.

I do have plans that are not in the exchange (therefor subject to the tax – word is they will never be able to collect that tax) but these plans are half the cost of the ACA plans with excellent benefits.

I am self-employed, high deductible plan, no copays. My “plan” more than doubled, gives me drug abuse, mental health, maternity – all things I can currently opt out of. My premium goes from $122 current to $301 under the new mandates. ObamaCARE group offers me the bronze package at $276. Whoever wrote this short article truly knew their stuff back that early. Too bad the word did not get out. Reason the signup system is crashing is because it is calculating premiums BEFORE signing people up, asking income etc. so it can list the price WITH SUBSIDY FIGURED IN. They knew people would run if they saw the real costs. I will opt out, pay the penalty (30% the new premiums cost) and bank the rest. Then if something happens, buy my insurance at the same price and same coverage WHEN I NEED IT. DUH!

Well it gets even better. Once everyone figures out “paying” the fine is cheaper then no one will signup except for the sick people who can’t get covered in the first place. As the ACA drives privet insurance companies into the ground (by their own fault) this sets up a single payer system, that was the intent all along. I thought that the GOP was against Obamacare, but in reality they are just bureaucrats and are all alike. Except for Ted Cruz and Mike Lee, the whole opposition to this administration would have quietly gone away without a major fight. The best thing it did do was expose the squishy RINO’s that need to be voted out. That should really scare the libtards to have even more physical sane people in office. The bad thing nobody will talk about is how a system that has raised the price on every person by double, who, by the way takes home less now then when Obama entered office. Business are freaking out on dealing with an every growing IRS, who is known for political posturing and harassment. We haven’t even touched the surface of Identity Fraud, medical records fraud, maintenance cost (after all it was suppose to cost 90+ million to build the program, but actually cost 640+ million – and it’s still not working after 14 days) and who is in charge of all the security???

Here is how I sum it all up – name one government program that runs efficiently?
